Celebrate your library all month with these events!
April 1, 8:30am: Building Fun(d) 5K Run and Fun Walk
Love your library by participating in the Building Fun(d) 5K Run or Fun Walk!
Run, walk, bike, scoot, or skate to raise money for the library’s Building Fund!
Registration forms are available in the library or via Google: https://forms.gle/aq4Xe1yc9zsm4esY6
Payment in the library can be made with cash, check, or card. The Google Form allows electronic payment via Network for Good. Race Day registration on April1 for 5K Run and Fun Walk will be from 8:30-8:45am.
April 6, 6pm: E-Reader Class
Learn how to access the library's free ebooks, e-audiobooks, e-magazines, and videos on your e-reader device (Kindle, iPad, tablet, smartphone, laptop, computer, etc). The Seneca Library District OverDrive platform and Libby App is available to McKean County residents. This class will be taught by Library Director, Mary Grace Collier-Kisler. Bring your e-reader device!
April 12: DEAR Day
Find a quiet spot in the library to Drop Everything And Read (DEAR)! DEAR Day is a national celebration of reading designed to remind families to make reading a priority activity in their lives.
April 13, 5:30pm: Bunco Night
Register yourself and a partner for a team of two to join in the fun: 814-642-9210. There will be pizza and small prizes (no alcohol). This is a free event open to all ages.
April 19, 10am: PA One Book Story Hour
Children and their adults are welcome to attend Story Hour at the library for stories, craft, and free playtime!
April 20, 6pm: Book Buddies Book Club
The book club will be discussing Mother May I by Joshilyn Jackson. Book Buddies is open to adults age 18+. Copies of the book are on loan at the library or on the Libby App.

April 28: Library Patron Appreciation Day
We appreciate YOU! Come into the library for free beverages and snacks!

- Food For Fine$ Week: Every non-perishable food item or bath and body hygiene item donated takes $1 off of your library fine or a minor child's library fine. Food items will be donated to local food pantries. Hygiene items will be donated to the Port Allegany Highs School Gator Closet.
- Chalk the Walk: Decorate the library's sidewalk with chalk! Leave messages on favorite books nd authors, draw your favorite children's book character, or just leave message about library love!
- Stamp Up Your Library: Donate postage stamps to the library to alleviate the cost of mailing library correspondence.
